I'd wear the one FMIL bought you. You liked it, and she'd be hurt if you didn't wear it. Especially if you made a thing about it being perfect for your rehearsal dinner....Take the target dress and wear it on your honeymoon. Or just stash it in your closet to wear to another wedding. Target isn't really expensive, and if you like it THAT much, you may regret not buying it.
If you're not sure, wait a week. THEN buy it if you want it. It may wear off you.
i'd def wear the one that your fmil bought you for the rehearsal. and if the target dress is really too cute to pass up then buy it and wear it for another occassion, if ur like for it will pass by, then don't buy it at all!

Go ahead and buy the Target dress anyway. It can't be that expensive. Just take it on your honeymoon or stash it in your closet for something else.

Yeah definitely wear the one she bought you. But you will indeed find another time and place to wear your other dress.
What about a 'getaway' dress. I have heard that some people change into a new dress right before they leave the wedding reception to signify a grand goodbye.

Your Target dress is perfect for a honeymoon. Wear the FMIL dress to the rehearsal and buy the Target and pack it for vacay.
I would wear what you FMIL bought you. She did a really nice thing and would get her feelings hurt if you didn't..Could you buy the one from Target and wear it to your Bridal shower?
Love both but agree with the hive, wear the FMIL dress and save the other beauty for the honeymoon!!
I would also wear FMIL's dress to the rehearsal. It's a great gesture for her (especially if you do still like it). The Target dress looks awesome on you! You can definitely wear that on honeymoon or to another wedding even. I think you should definitely own the Target dress ;)

About a month ago, I was with the future in laws at a wedding. FMIL and I saw a dress on this girl and fell in love. We both thought it would be perfect for my rehearsal dinner dress. Being the wonderful FMIL that she is, she went out the day after we returned and bought me the dress! It's super cute and I totally love it.
Well, last night I went to Target and found an adorable dress that would be even more perfect! It was a more fun color (for some reason, EVERY pre-wedding party dress I've worn has been black and white - including the rehearsal dinner dress from FMIL), and just freaking adorable.
My mom said to buy the Target dress and wear it on the honeymoon. But, I feel like I've bought too many dresses already. And, it's too "prissy" to wear on my bachelorette party - which is the only pre-wedding event left.
What do I do?! Do I wear the dress FMIL bought for me? Do I wear the one I love? Do I quit whining about it and buy the Target dress just to have since I love it so much?
