I just posted a picture of mine. I thought about white/ivory but ended up going with a peach color.
i don't know what dress i'll wear yet.. haha i've got some time.. but i think i may go with a emerald green or maybe bright blue! i don't think the bride must wear white (or her wedding colors!!) .. just find a dress you love and feel fabulous in!!!
I am wearing a crazy printed dress from Anthropologie to my rehearsal dinner. I wanted something fun and a little funky since I'll be so much more formal the next day.
I'm wearing black! I really don't think the color matters as long as you like the dress. :)
This has also been my big concern this week... nothing like waiting until the last minute, eh? I've already picked out a few choices but really liked one that I ended up buying today... a black dress. I may do some more looking because I haven't finalized my decision.
I want a white dress, but have seen some other dresses that aren't and am contemplating my choices!
I definitely want to find a white dress...I actually love the tea length wedding dresses at DB and am thinking about getting one of those as my RD dress haha
I'm planning on a cute white dress. I kind of just want to wear white all weekend for fun because I rarely wear it and it seems fun and bride-y to me. I'll probably end up doing a white dress with colorful accessories.
I'm with you, Kittyachi. I never wear white, partially because I'm super pale and partially because I'm messy and it wouldn't stay white for an entire day. But I'm going to "white it up" on my wedding weekend. Plus, I'm sure I can re-wear those dresses on our honeymoon.
I just picked up a white cotton eyelet tea length dress this weekend. It is perfect for our family bbq rehearsal dinner. I rarely wear white, and I am dressing it up a bit with a blue sweater and brown sandals.
Mine is a beige/ivory/whatever you call it color shift dress. It has some gold thread sewn into the pattern though. It's definitely "bridal" enough when you are taking it in that context, but not so "bridal" and white that I can't wear it for other things. It was intended to be bought with the matching jacket to be a dress suit, but I didn't buy the jacket.
Im so wearing a white/ivory dress for my rehearsal dinner. Something like this:
