Hmm. What price range are you looking at? Any particular style of food? A few spots I can think of (restaurant-wise -- not sure if they can seat that large of a private party) off the top of my head are The Acorn, Amerigo's, Fleming's, Mambu, Cantina Laredo, Watermark, Blackstone, J Alexander's, Ted's Montana Grill, Bricktop's, Stoney River Steakhouse, Ruth's Chris, and Tin Angel.
I once went to a very pretty rehearsal dinner at The Acorn that was held on the upstairs balcony.
In the same general area is Maggiano's, too, which has private spaces.
Maggiano's is amazing! It is relaxed, yet elegant. All of the food is delish and come in huge portions that should definately be shared!
I just wanted to let everyone know we decided on Acorn. Love their upstairs porch, fantastic food, reasonably priced and after contacting 10 other restaurants, they were quick to respond and the friendliest!

Hi ladies. we are trying to decide possible on a rehearsal dinner location. Our church is Benton Chapel on Vandy's campus and our guests will all be staying downtown. We would ideally like a place that is downtown, midtown, Hillsboro Village, West End, etc. There will likely be 40-50 of us. Any suggestions?
