Hi!  My fiance and I are getting married at the Adamson House in Malibu but our wedding party will be staying at the Georgian Hotel in Santa Monica.  So we are planning to have the rehearsal dinner in Santa Monica.

Any ideas of restaurants for our rehearsal dinner?  We would prefer really good food, private seating area, not too pricey per person, and walking distance to the Georgian Hotel or 3rd Street Promenade.  Any suggestions would be much appreciated!

Il Fornaio on Ocean Blvd may have a private room, since the one in Pasadena does.

FIG restaurant in the Fairmont Hotel on Ocean & Wilshire also has a private room, but the food is more expensive there.

    Good luck!

We had ours at Enterprise Fish Co. on Main St. Not necessarily walking distance for most but a quick cab or bus ride away from the Georgian. We had the back part of the patio all to ourselves. The food was delicious. The price was right. And the atmosphere/service were wonderful.

Trastavere on the Promenade is one that we looked at originally. You might check there. And my BFF had hers at Buca di Beppo on 2nd St.

We actually had our wedding at Mariasol on the end of the Santa Monica Pier. You can reserve different areas of the restaurant depending on the number of people in your party. We had 90 and got the whole upper floor. We did a buffet. Typically, their food isn't that great. It's kind of a tourist trap. BUT. The food on my wedding day was actually really good. The view from there is amazing. Very fun vibe. The prices are definitely right. And it's walking distance from the Georgian.

Jiraffe is really good. They have a second floor that can accomodate large parties. I believe it should be walking distance from the Geogian. Food is great and service is impeccable.

I have a friend who had hers at Lula on Main St. Santa Monica.
