Weddingbee boards

We are getting married outside in a city (Ashland) about 20 minutes away from where we live (Medford) and a lot of our attendants and families live.  We have been debating about which city to hold the rehearsal dinner in.  We realize that having it in Ashland would be quicker because we would already be there, but we would still have to drive back to Medford after we eat so that point is kinda moot.  We also haven't eaten at many of the restaurants in that city, and they are generally more expensive than Medford.  Is it too much to ask for our RD to be in Medford and have to drive the 20 minutes before we get to eat?

Thanks for your input!  What type of food are you having at your rehearsal dinner? Right now we are thinking Italian.

I think as long as everyone present has a car or can catch a ride with another guest, it shouldn't be a huge deal. Italian is a great choice for RD - not too expensive and well-liked by nearly everyone. We're hoping to do Italian for our RD as well.
