I severely regret not hiring one (at least a student... anyone!!!)
The rehearsal dinner was such a huge part of our wedding weekend and I'm sad that it was not officially captured on camera....
Brides... if you can hire anyone! It doesn't have to be someone expensive! Go for it! Maybe a cousin with a nice camera or a neighbor, friend, or photography enthusiast? It doesn't have to be as polished but the RD was the first real emotional and amazing part of our wedding weekend, and was totally worthy of being captured.
Would love to see a few of your pics, msgirard!
I just posted some of my pics I always forget the size limitation so I always have to do it multiple times. Also my Bouquet was done with martha Stewart crepe flower kit that they sell at Michael's Crafts. And here are some other photos as well.
I am so happy, when we booked our photographer we opted for a package that comes with rehearsal and rehearsal dinner coverage! Your pictures looks great!

Did anyone use a professional photographer for their rehearsal dinner?
I am so happy that we did because we along with our guests were able to relax and not worry about capturing photos. We went with someone we found via craigslist as an economical solution.
I loved how they turned out.
