Are you looking for a more low-key rehearsal dinner? Or still a formal dinner?

There’s the old village post house in Mt. P – http://www.mavericksouthernkitchens.com/oldvillageposthouse/

Morgan Creek Grill at IOP – http://www.morgancreekgrill.com/rooms___locations

The Boathouse at IOP – http://www.boathouserestaurants.com/ordereze/default.aspx#!contact-party-isle-of-palms-sc/c2q4

@CarolinaCola:  If you need more ideas, look on your local Chowhound Board.

@CarolinaCola:  Do a search – top right hand corner- before you post a query, just to be polite.

Choose “This Board”- then enter rehearsal dinner. If you don’t find what you need, post for help.

We’re having ours at Bohicket Marina. Very reasonably priced ($600?), and you get it for all day. We’re having Home Team BBQ cater it. All in all decent price and really nice spot.

@CarolinaCola:  We are renting out Goldbug Island (and getting Home Team to cater BBQ too, @OHtoSC:  !! Haha we had our first date there, tie everything together!) It is technically in Mount Pleasant but right before the bridge to Sullivan’s Island. The rental is kinda expensive (1500) but you can bring in all your own food and you don’t even need to have a bartender to serve alcohol–HUGE freaking savings there. We are basically having a wedding sized party the night before, just a lot less casual!

Also I would definitely second any of the Shem Creek restaurants!
