Who normally does a toast at a rehearsal dinner I thought this was where the groom’s parents (which I know his won’t want to do this…) and then we thanked everyone else for all of their help and support. I read somewhere, howeer, that the best man and maid of honor are supposed to do a toast. Isn’t that at the wedding? And if anyone has their toast made to their wedding party and parents please share if you wouldn’t mind!

@lfranke: I think you can do any speeches at the RD and it actually might be good because then it breaks up the toasts from the wedding. However not all of your guests will be present (maybe) if that matters to you. I really like this idea though – we almost did this but my MOH didnt want to!

Soemtimes other people will toast, but this is the night you and your groom toast your friends and family for being there for your big day! Your toast can be short and sweet. Something like:
“We just wanted to say a tremendous thank you to all of our family and friends. We love each of you and wouldn’t have been able to pull this wedding off without your help and support. Please eat drink and be merry, since tomorrow we’ll be married. Thank you all again.
or you could extend and say something personal about each of your bridal party attendants too. Most of my friends-former brides- put it in a card with their gift.
