I need a place in LA (proper, not outskirts), for my rehearsal dinner. We are expecting between 35-50 guests so we want a place with a private room. The closer to Hollywood, the better, but I'm open.
not sure what your budget is, but yamashiro is really nice. if you don't mind the valley, there's also cafe bizou and marrakesh (studio city). marix tex mex in w. hollywood might also have a private room (i know that their santa monica location has one).
One of my bridesmaids had her rehearsal dinner at C & O's Trattoria in Marina Del Rey. It was fun because it was more casual than her formal dinner and the food was good! It was served family style and they brought their own alcohol in for a small corkage fee. Also, at random times during the night, the whole restaurant erupts into song singing "that's amore" along with Dean Martin. it was a nice touch! good luck!
el torito grill in beverly hills has a private room and banquet menus- we had a birthday party for my dad there. great prices, good food, great location and they were really nice to work with!
I second C&Os, but you may want to go to their other location, C&O cucina, which is newer and, in my opinion, a bit nicer.
but it depends what you like! Trattoria has a more casual cafe type feel about it and Cucina has more of the dark wood, elegant, yet casual feel to it.
Hey ladies,

Got anything for me?
Thanks!

Anyone know of something more casual - ie: a mexican place with a private room, or italian?
Thanks girls!
