I’ll be having mine at a local restaurant that serves American cuisine. The entrees are in the $16 range, but the food is considered to be excellent. Future Father-In-Law gave us a budget and then told Fiance and I to find a place that could stay within that.

My Mother-In-Law chose a fish house that had a private room nearish the wedding location and hotel.

We’re having it at our house, and doing a Low Country Boil.  Should be fun and relaxing.

Future Mother-In-Law picked out a sort of fancy American food/bar place.  It’s really close to the reception site and the hotels, so that will be good.  It’ll be a really nice, laid back evening, which is good because it will be so different from our formal wedding.

Mine is kind of different. My Future Sister-In-Law which is one of my BM’s suggested that we combine the rehearsal dinner with the decorating party.

You see we will do the rehearsal ceremony, then head off to the hall to decorate. While decorating we’ll order pizza. That was her idea and I LOVE it. It kills two birds with one stone!

My family is Chinese and his is German/Irish. Since the wedding was more “western food” although with a Asian Station I wanted the Rehearsal Dinner to be more Asian. So we chose a Thai Fusion restaurant. It had wonderful Thai food that everyone from my grandma to mom to kids would eat. But it had a yummy steak on the menu for the picky FIL!

Ours is at the resort where we are getting married. We are just having a bbq at one of the cottages (it was included in our wedding package). Should be fun, relaxing, and very low-key.

We got married at my college, so we had the rehearsal dinner at the campus center.  We did a laid back BBQ and it was so much fun! I realized we couldn’t have it at a restaurant because we had 30+ people attending (lots of people involved in our Catholic ceremony!) and I wanted to make sure I was able to see/talk to everyone there.  It was a good decision!
