My rehearsal dinner will be at a country club on a golf course near where we are having our ceremony. I am not sure if the dress I bought is too formal? The only clothing rule for the country club is “no jeans”… I don’t want to look ridiculous. Please let me know what you think, sorry I can’t save the pictures from the website so I am sharing the link. My wedding dress is a starpless sweetheart neckline with a beaded bodice and full ball gown skirt.
Dress that I bought today:
I was also looking at something like this, but I’m not sure if I want to do strapless:

I’m literally wearing a wedding dress off a $99 rack that I am having shortened as my rehearsal dinner dress. Yours will be perfect!

I don’t think that’s too dressy at all. I was expecting a floor length, could-pass-as-a-wedding-dress dress. (Not that a maxi dress would be overkill either). The one you purchased is lovely.

julies1949: Dogsbody92: GoBlueJays: Thank you so much, you’re making me feel better about it. I guess I’m feeling a little nervous and too self conscious these days… thanks for the picture help Julies1949!!

I don’t think so. My dress is pretty fancy too, and we’re going to a burger joint for dinner afterwards. But it’s my party, so I get to do whatever I want!

Not too dressy at all! Lovely choice. 🙂

It’s your rehearsal dinner! If you want to dress up with a ball gown you are by all means allowed to 🙂
The dress is gorgeous and I bet will look stunning on you.

Doxie7: it’s perfect I was expecting a big glitzy gown. The dress is gorg and very appropraite for a rehearsal dinner.

The first dress is perfect. . .The 2nd dress is way too casual you’re the bride. . .be a little dressy & set yourself apart from the rest. But I bet you that you won’t be much dressier than everyone else, if at all.

I think it looks good! I have bought this for my rehersal or reception dress – probably reception.

Very cute dress… and not, not too dressy at all!
I am debating what to wear to mine, but may just get something from Rent the Runway since I am not sure when I’d wear another white dress.

Kacie209: I’m holding onto this dress as a back up but I’m not 100% sure I love how I look in the dress. 🙂 Have you used Rent the Runway before?? I’d love to try it but I am afraid I’d be off on the sizing!
