I think that would totally work for a RD dress, and ballet flats would be great with that, especially since you're already 5'11"!
It's adorable - fun and totally rewearable! If you decide against it for the rehearsal, KEEP IT for your shower or BM luncheon.
I think that dress is great for a rehearsal dinner. I think it can be dressier or more casual depending on the shoes you want to wear with it (heels = dressier, flats or sandals = more casual). I really like the color of shoes that the model is wearing, they really compliment the dress. Maybe that color in a flat? Or maybe a kitten heel to be dressier, but not too tall (althought I don't think there is such a thing as too tall)?
Thanks ladies! I really think it's cute!
@jordynrose - there really is no such thing as "too tall" (especially when FH is 6'6") and this girl loves her heels! And her flats!
SO fun and I also love that flower! adorable!
I think it sounds like it'd look great on you, I love that color on blondes!
its so cute! the color is so fun and festive. A keeper in my book!
I'll post a picture once it arrives and we can see if the image in my head translates!
Ugh - so I found the dress at my local Ann Taylor (note to everyone - the online inventory tool is so not accurate). And it hugs in all the right spots, and doesn't hug in the worst possible spots. Or, you're just supposed to be the shape of a potato sack.
And while it was a very lovely potato sack, as soon as my package arrives at my house, I will promptly be driving it back to Ann Taylor to get my money back.
I don't know about you guys, but finding a rehearsal dress is proving to be much more taxing than finding my actual wedding dress.
So, in summary: Blech.

So, I just ordered this dress from Ann Taylor: http://www.anntaylor.com/catalog/product.jsp?productId=23297&N=1200007&pCategoryId=3939&categoryId=180&Ns=CATEGORY_SEQ_180&loc=TN&defaultColor=Grapefruit&defaultSizeType=Regular#
I really dig the flower - what do you guys think? I'm hoping to like it just as much when it shows up at my house on Feb. 11
I'm having a hard time walking that line between too dressy and too casual and I'm looking for something I can wear again.
What do you guys think?
(To help you imagine it on me, I'm 5'11", curly blonde hair and am pretty decent shape - about 150 lbs - from Pilates and spinning).
What shoes would I get? Cute ballet flats?
