Try Bluefly.com although sometimes their dresses are pricier because they are name brand dresses but Nordstrom.com has sales fairly often and I love them because you can return the items in the stores.

You could try the Forever 21 website. They have dresses for less than $30. Just be aware you may have to order a size larger than usual. The Gap also has a lot of dresses in the $50 range 🙂

I got mine at macys, it is very cute. White with blue accents and beading around the neckline… 130, but worth it!

Target has some gorgeous Isaac Mizrahi dresses for around $50. I have a couple of his dresses, and they fit great and are made really well. Feels like a designer dress, but very affordable

ebay! i just won and paid $50 for a dress that is currently selling on the ann taylor website for $148.

there are tons of other dresses for really reasonable prices too. other than that, i second forever 21 and also suggest t j maxx if there is one in your area.

I would watch out from buying anything from a "common" store, i bought a dress from the white house and black house store for my engagement party and someone else had my same dress on.

It was horrible and I made the best of it (especially since I am 30 and she was in highschool) so splurge a little on what you wear and don’t buy it from where everyone else shops it could get embarassing.

Especailly if it’s a future cousin-in-law and they have the same dress on and you have to do pics not so much fun, trust me!

 Try Boutiques.

I would agree with htrbaker, I wouldn’t want anyone else wearing the same dress as me.  To avoid this, I would tell you to think about color.  Maybe you could have a color themed party and wear a dress outside of that color theme.  I have done this for one of my friend’s brithday so that she would stand out and most likely wouln’t have anyone in the same dress.  I would suggest Nordstrom or French Connection.
