I'm wearing a fuscia dress I found at Macy's this weekend that was $100 off. It can be dressed up or down and where our night before event is super casual, I might pair it with white sandals or flipflops and a white cardigan.
Definitely doesn't have to be white, in my opinion! Wear something that you'll love for years to come! Did you see this bride on Style Me Pretty?

It's her wedding dress, but it's gorgeous and I'll bet she'll wear it over and over again! Wear something that makes you happy! Plus, it'll be a great piece in your regular wardrobe because it'll have so many wonderful memories attached!

No, it does not have to be white. This is actually the first place I've seen that discussed. I've never seen a bride to be wear a white dress to the rehearsal dinner myself. Wear whatever you like!
I've never seen a white rehearsal dress in person. Only on the Bee boards. : ) It doesn't even need to be a dress--rehearsal jeans and a tee work just as well! But then again, who doesn't love another excuse to wear a cute dress...?
I will be wearing a blue dress! I also had never seen/heard of a bride wearing white to the rehearsal before WB
I think the reason so many people on here wear white is just because it's fun to drag out the bridal feeling as long as possible. I think it's cute to wear white to the rehearsal, but totally unnecessary. If you don't want to buy a new dress, feel better in color, have the perfect colored dress, or just prefer your colored dress - go for it!
I bought a white dress that I was planning on wearing to the rehearsal dinner, but now we're planning on having a pizza party welcome dinner instead. I'm probably going to end up wearing jeans. I'm thinking about wearing the white dress to my shower or bachelorette party though.
Go colorful! Your going to spend the whole next day wearing white. ;)
i wore a black dress! the weddings i went to: bride wore pink, other wedding, bride wore black skirt and dressy blue shirt!
Wear whatever you want! I wore a white dress, but that's mostly because I had been looking for a white sweater dress for months. I rewear that dress all the time too! But I know tons of brides who didn't wear a white dress for the rehearsal. Heck, I know tons of brides who didn't even wear a dress! They wore jeans or slacks!
I wore black! A black, ruffly, not cheap dress from White House Black Market! I love that thing. It was an excuse to treat myself to a nice dress and I wear it to lots of events like weddings! Everybody loves the ruffly skirt. At the time, I wished they'd made wedding dresses like that and that was RIGHT before the trend. Sigh!
I thought about white, but then it was kinda fun to "save" white for the wedding! I almost did, though =]
I think a lot usually DONT wear white! I may or may not... I'm not the kind who could pull off white/ivory for any other reason than being the bride :-) Or, I may do a pewter or royal blue.. don't know yet.. I'm going to wait till closer to the date since I'm working out again, finally.

Just wondering...
I've seen a lot of bees post some really cute white dresses for their rehearsal dresses. Does it have to be white though? I have a ton of cute colorful dresses that I would recycle to use as my rehearsal dress...I just don't think I could buy another white dress that I probably wouldn't wear again...
