blankenshiptobe:  What country do you live in? What is your budget? Are you looking for white or a colored dress?

blankenshiptobe:  Are you plus sized (only asking because I noticed you posted in full figure.) If so, check out modcloth and asos! They have super cute dresses, and aren’t very expensive. Also check out Debs, Torrid, and SWAK (cant get it to link, but its swakdesigns.com)

If you aren’t plus sized, feel free to ignore this. Although you could still shop from all but Torrid and SWAK.

Check out Lulus.com! They have the CUTEST DRESSES!! They do run small, so if you wear anything larger than a street size 8/10, you may not have much luck.

This is my rehearsal dinner dress- i found it on sale at bcbg- can’t wait to wear it in August!

I swear it looks nicer if you have a chest to fill it out, but it’s loose and comfortable, but still sexy/not to sexy. (For reference, I’m 5’6″, DD chest, and athletic – size 10)

I think BCBG sometimes has great sales- i got it for $65 in the store. I was having trouble finding a flattering dress that I liked as well.

I got mine from Target!

Our wedding is at a country club and I would say is leaning towards the classic preppy look and I loved this seersucker dress! It looks great on and is comfy! Its lighter in color without being completely white which I find hard to wear any other time.

Look everywhere!  I like Target and have gotten a few tops there but I did not think I would find my rehearsal dress there. Its super cute and it was only 30 bucks!

blankenshiptobe:  Congrats on the weight loss! You should be able to find something at all of those places, maybe with the exception of SWAK. Torrid has a size 0x which I think translates to a 14. The others have anything from 0 to up in the 20s, so you should be able to find something.

I got my rehersal dress at nordstroms.  I drove to chicago and met with a personal shopper and tried on a ton of stuff.   you would be surprised at what a varied price range they have there…i think my dress was about 150 but my mom got 2 dresses less than 100 each.  No fee for the personal shopper either.  My dress was purple lace fitted on top, a line skirt.  They also have free shipping and returns online if you cant go in person.
