oh i just got my dress!!
I have matching cornflower blue shoes too!
I'm wearing an ivory dress I got massively on sale at neiman's last call. But I don't know which shoes I'm wearing yet. I'm thinking either gold, or I'm even considering wearing my blue shoes for my wedding to the rehearsal. Nothing better than practicing in the actual shoes, right? But I don't want to ruin the surprise, so who knows.
I LOVE wearing black, but I specifically wanted to wear a bold or bright color, so I went with cobalt blue! Here is a pic of me & my BMs are the RD.
I'm happy with my choice b/c the blue really stood out & I had the perfect blue shoes to go with it!

Good question. I think we're just going to have a catered dinner at my parents house so I can't be too fancy. I think I'll stick with a cute, casual dress and some cute heels (just cuz I adore heels for any occasion). I have plenty of time so I have no true inspiration. What kinda ideas have you thought of? What kind of venue are you holding it?
I love these! My rehearsal dinner is gigantic (95 people) so FI's parents rented out a restaurant in the historic area of ybor city, fl. So I'm thinking I should dress up a bit. I was also considering wearing my blue wedding shoes to the rehearsal to practice.. but then I'd need to find a dress to match them! I was thinking a Betsey Johnson cocktail dress... but I am really having a tough time deciding!
I just bought my dress from Dillard's. It was originally 189.00 and I got it for 50.00. It is a black/white/silver silk dress. It is spaghetti straps and has a built in bra so it is supercomfy to wear! I found the perfect shoes to match at Target.
I plan on wearing a white or ivory colored dress with some colorful shoes. But... I have over a year to figure it all out.
