Hi Luvbug,
While I haven't gone to any rehearsal dinners in Lake George, my fiance does have his company party there every year. We go to the Log Jam...It's a pretty popular restaurant up there. (Don't know if you're from Lake George...If so, I'm sure you know it!) It's got a laid back, rustic feel. They have a few different dining areas that you can reserve, depending on how big your dinner will be. They also have a lounge area with a fireplace and bar that was popular with the boys after dinner. The menu will please beef lovers; I know surf and turf was a popular choice. Overall, I'd say all the food choices are on the heavier side, so if you're looking for more variety or lighter options, this might not be your place.
Good luck, and enjoy!
Thanks, nope- I don't think we have been there. I'll suggest to FMIL to check it out. She wants to plan the rehersal so it'll be her decision ultimatly.
I know you posted this a while ago, and may have found a place, but I wanted to suggest Lake George Shoreline Cruises. They have dinner cruises there. Although I have not been on a dinner cruise on this line, I have been in friend's wedding where they did this (the ones in Albany, actually), and it was a HUGE hit. It was unique and tons of fun - they got a DJ and people were amazed by the night-time views and loved every minute of it!

Hello Ladies,
I'm not sure if I should be posting on this board or the "upstate" board as I'm a Lake George bride, but the upstate board seems to be mostly Syracuse/Buffalo area.
My Future In Laws have been kind enough to offer to hold the rehersal diner for our wedding next summer. We are looking for a place in Lake George. Has anyone had any experiences with rehersal diners in the Lake George Area they want to share?
