(Closed) rehersal dinner

@jbbs1222:  not everyone has a rehearsal and a rehearsal dinner isn’t neccessary.

i guess they call it the rehearsal dinner because it follows the rehearsal.

the only people that need to be invited to the rehearsal dinner are bride, groom, immediate family from both sides, and wedding party.

OOT guests are invited when they come in the day before with something to do.

some OOT guests won’t come a day early even if they are invited to the dinner.

extended family can also be invited.

but the dinner allows time to mingle with guests before the big day.  many brides and grooms give their wedding party gifts at this time.  the floor is open to anyone who wants to give toasts.

the grooms family typically hosts

You can rehearse in a different space to get everyone comfortable with the sequence and timing. It doesn’t have to be in the actual space.
