My sister had her reception right across the river in Lambertville, NJ at the Inn at Lambertville Station. http://www.lambertvillestation.com/ The inn has a large private room overlooking the Delaware.

I'm not sure about the event space within the restaurant itself since I haven't been in them, but I'd recommend the food. It's a great location and only a short walk across the bridge if your guests are staying in New Hope.
