I definitely believe in it. There are so many stories like the ones in your link and they always give me the chills.

When I was younger I used to tell my mom stories about past lives.  I have no recollection of it now.  One that I mentioned was how I was the mother and she was the child and we were in a horse drawn carriage and that the driver was my now cousin.  I totally believe its possible.

Have you ever seen the movie Cloud Atlas?  Its a book too but I never read it.  Its a theme

I whole heartily believe in reincarnation. Why are some people afraid of certain thing when they haven’t experienced them in this life? Why do people feel so particularly close to a country or a certain culture? My belief is our spirits choose with God when they will come back to earth to be reborn, by choosing their families and their life stories before even being born.

Wow, that is pretty convincing stuff! I have always been curious about reincarnation and have never ruled it out as an option. These stories are pretty hard to dispute

I’m a believer.  I used to not be, but then had some personal experiences that convinced me beyond a shadow of a doubt.

I have read so many compelling stories. I certainly think it’s possible! Whenever a new baby is born in my family I wonder if he or she will be a reincarnation lol. So far none of them have shown any evidence of it though!

I believe in reincarnation — it’s one of the tenets of my religion.

@ChocolateLime:  I don’t believe in any form of after-life, because I don’t believe in souls. So no, I don’t believe in reincarnation.

@ChocolateLime:  I don’t believe in reincarnation because I believe what the Bible says, and what the Bible says doesn’t leave room for reincarnation.

1) We ourselves are souls; not something that lives inside us (Gen. 2:7)

2) When we die, the soul dies (Ezek. 18:4,20)

3) The soul is not immortal, and simply ceases to exist. Nothing lives on to pass into another body  (Ps. 146:4; Eccl. 3:19; Eccl. 9:5,6, 10)

4) The only way dead people can return to life is through the resurrection, which is yet future. (John 5:28,29; Acts 24:15)

The brain works in amazing ways, and it is easy to be so absorbed in your imagination (with details burned into our subconscious through movies, books and conversations) such that one starts to believe they actually experienced those events in another life.

Also, it is possible to “hallucinate” about a past-life due to demonic control. The demons have been alive for many years and thus are able to give people under their control details about the past they couldn’t possibly know about (Rev. 12:9)

@ChocolateLime:  I totally believe it’s possible. I obviously can’t know for sure but all the stories about children *knowing* things…just google it and it’s really hard to dispute.

Also I read something that explained “old souls” and “young souls” depending on how long your soul has been around and how many times it has been reincarnated. It sounded totally accurate too so who am I to say it’s not real?

I don’t right now, but that’s because I don’t believe in souls.

However, I’d like to believe in it.  I would certainly believe in reincarnation over things like the Bible, God/gods, or the type of after-life developed by the early Christian church.
