I know vodka has the least amount of calories when it comes to alcohol.

my helpful answer: I usually drink gin and tonics but have been considering using club soda instead of tonic water (since it has corn syrup and lots of calories). Alcohol has a lot, but the sugary mixers are what really gets you! Also, I find I’m more satisfied by one or two good beers that I enjoy (Magic Hat #9, Yuengling, etc) than several of something light that I don’t enjoy as much (bud, miller, etc).

Yup, vodka is the lowest.

I like dirty vodka martinis – vodka and olive juice.  Not sure how many calories are in olive juice, but much less than coke or fruit juice!

Also, bethany from the Real housewives of NY just made a skinny drinks book.. not sure if it’s out yet?  Might be worth looking into?

Vodka sodas are  my standby drink. Low cal, and I feel like the addition of soda helps water it down a little so I don’t get too drunk too fast. Maybe I’m just fooling myself with that one tho, lol.

Vodka+diet coke or seltzer water. Or, really, any single liquor+diet drink mix isn’t a bad way to go. I do gin+diet coke+lime and I’m happy. But i don’t really care for vodka–i’m more of a Bombay Sapphire kinda girl. I can do Skyy, too, though

Beer-wise, a light beer like bud light only has 100 calories. Also kinda tastes like cat pee to me (i’m more of a wheat beer girl) but tons of people like it.

Or one glass of wine

Out of all of the above drinks, they’re all about 100 calories or so.

diet cranberry’s fine, too. That’s low cal. Also–if you’re making drinks at home, you can use crystal light+water+vodka. my friend does that all the time. I once made faux-margaritas with lemon lime crystal light, sprite, and tequila once and they turned out okay.

Really, as long as your mixer is low-cal, you’re ok.

How are MudSlides low cal? They have ice cream in them!!! But yummy =]

Vodka cranberry is my favorite drink, but I despise it with diet cranberry juice!  Maybe it’s just me, because I generally don’t like artificial sweeteners in diet drinks, but I just think it tastes horrendous!  The tartness of regular cranberry juice just isn’t there, which to me is what works best with the vodka.

When I was on Weight Watchers, I drank citrus vodka and club with a splash of lime.
