ha. I like Dove Ultimate Clear go fresh Refreshing scent. It's pleasant and not overwhelming. I wear it all day, then to the gym and I still smell fine! I'm wearing it to my outdoor wedding SAturday but I will bring it just in case i need to freshen up. It doesn't ball up or get gummy and wet, either. Or chalky
this is a weakness of my body, so i am really into deodorant.
secret clinical strength (you wear it at night and can also use another deodorant during the day - kind of like doubling up)
secret flawless performance
degree body-responsive
Degree worked for me for many years here in South Florida - you might want to consider placing a little baby powder on you right when you step out of the shower for extra protection.
I recently switched to Dove & now I switched to there hair softening new one - which works miracles & keeps me dry.
I recommend "VISIBLY SMOOTH" to all brides who have a few months & really cant afford back to back underarm waxing to avoid dark spots under their arms and want to look super fab underarm for their wedding dress.
Degree & Dove is the way to go!
Wow I wish I knew about that visibly smooth one. I look like chewbacca waiting to get waxed friday. I'm sweating outside but wearing a sweatshirt....
I'm worried about hugging my future hubby and getting deoderant on his tux. Which would you recommend for that?
Yes. The dove does not rub off onto stuff. You want the ultimate clear though. i used to use their old formula, the clear, and it is not near as amazing. I wear it with black shirts all the time. Just let it dry first, duh, and you're good to go! If i put it on right away and then throw a shirt on it does get on my shirt. If i wait a minute or two, no problems.
They make little sponges that you can have someone hold onto in case you ARE worried and it'll take the deoderant right off his tux.
Really the Dove is nice and smooth under your arms. Those moisturizers keep your skin looking nice there. i used to use Degree when I played sports (i was a tiathlete so I know a thing or two about sweating and getting stinky!! We used to train outside in southern california during the summer for 2 hours every day) and it would chunk off kinda weird. And smelled really strong. The more you sweat the more it smelled. I used to get underarm razor bumps, too, but not anymore with the dove. Use a sharp ass razor. Nothing dull.
Why don't they make tinted deoderant? you know, to avoid the dark spots under your arm? I only notice those at the gym when I do shoulder lifts...but your photographer will blend it all if it's obvious, just so ya know.
I got deodorant on hubby's tux... wasnt too noticeable xD. I use Dove unsented for senstive skin and it works really well for me. Maybe a spray on deodorant would work better for keeping it off of a tux? That or maybe you'll just have to be really careful
The Dove Ultimate Clear is the reason for this original post. That one Failed me badly at an outdoor event about 2 weeks ago.
Been using the Degree Little Black Dress one since and that is okay, but I'm not sold
Ultimate clear for the day of (doesnt rub off) - The visibly smooth is best for the months before to reduce the stubble & eliminate need to wax since its really smooth and moisturized before you shave. However, visibly smooth is not clear so dont wear it day of.
Oh no =(
Sorry it didn't work for you! A spray on might be a good way to go. Less chalky/thinner?
Not sure, it wasn't really a white mark issue, more a sweat/smell issue.
Thinking maybe one of these 'Clinical' ones might be the way to go.
I have to say that Dove works pretty good, but I switched last summer to good ole Teen Spirit. They have some super nice scents and they seem to keep me dry and fresh!
secret clinical strength is my favorite. I made sure I got some for a wedding I'm in this weekend!
I use Kiehl's deodarant - it's unscented and never makes any marks/stains on my clothes. I tend to sweat a lot and smell bad in humidity and this stuff works better than any drugstore brand I've tried. I also get sick to my stomach with most scented deodarants, especially when they start to 'work'. It's a little on the expensive side - like $11 for a small tube, but it lasts me forever.
Secret Clinical Protection. It's even better than my usual Degree....
Clear-Dri! You put it on the night before and just let it air dry. It's a miracle worker! NO SWEAT whatsoever! Just make sure you haven't just shaved like 5 minutes before or else it burns!
