We were married about a month ago, and had an amazing wedding. With over 300 people and a very large bridal party I wouldnt change anything in the world about it. However, I am having a hard time remembering everything that went on that night! I feel like it went by so fast that I didnt talk to enough people and am having a lot of anxiety about it. One minute we were having our first dance and the next we were walking out the door! Has anyone else experienced this? And, does it get better?

I think this is normal. Most of my friends that have gotten married recently have told me that it went by really fast and that they wish they had just sat for a few minutes and watched the party so they could enjoy the decorations. So don’t beat yourself up about it. As you talk with guests about the wedding things will start to come back to you etc. At my brother’s wedding we had 250 guests and I rememeber that I didn’t get a chance to say hello to everyone. You just get caught up in cake cutting, dancing etc. Your guests know this and don’t get upset if you didn’t say hello.

My day certainly went by fast. I remember when people started to leave thinking, “wait…”
Could you write some things down? That might help bring back some memories, and you could leave your story with your album or photo book as a way to look back on the day years from now.
