Weddingbee boards

I dropped of my dress yesterday for hem and bussle. Got to pick it up today.

And guess what!

Instead of it being almost $400 that DB tried to charge me, IT WAS $30!

I feel like writing DB a nasty letter... and laughing in their face.

I think it's in really poor taste when people use such a sensitive and serious word like "rape" to describe situations like this. I know it's common in some people's vocabulary, but I cringe every time I hear/read it and think it desensitizes the true meaning of the word.

Sorry you feel like DB ripped you off. Glad to hear you were able to get it done for much less.

Undoubtedly, someone on WeddingBee has actually been raped. FYI, it's not like being charged too much by a business at all. I think you could have picked a more sensitive word for your headline.

Okay - forgive me for using the word rape. Reality is, they tried to charge me nearly $400 for something I paid $30 for,

$30 dollars seams SO cheap for a bustle.  Are you happy with it?  I am paying $450 for my alterations, which I thought was a good deal. 

@futuremrsmp: Ridiculously happy! It looks just as good as any other. I don't really like them but I know it;s necessary so IMO, it's perfect.
