My ring was def. not what I thought I'd go for, so make sure to try on as many as you can in differing styles! Enjoy!

@peakay - I definitely got the "the one" feeling. I got several "ohh this one's great!" feelings... but when I saw "the one", it was just so much more intense. :)

...Well, guess what?! WE'RE GOING RING SHOPPING!! Woo hoo! As it turns out, the boy never mentioned rings because he had been planning on picking one out all by himself and eventually surprising me! He prides himself in paying attention to things I've said about rings ("simple but thin and delicate band"..."no side stones"...no tapering of the band towards the ring, yeah, yeah, yeah, I know"). We then talked about how we could look and try rings on together and then he would have the final decision based on what looked and felt best on my finger. Anyway, my birthday is next week and as part of my birthday present, we're going to go for our first ring shopping date! I'm so excited!
