I WISH I was having a renaissance theme wedding. I’d totally elope in at a renaissance fair, if FI was up for it.

For the hair, maybe sort of messy (but pretty) braids with flowers through out it. Or something like this.

@allyfally:  These are beautiful! Are you doing a Renaissance wedding, try to convice your FI!!!!  I also like the hairstyle you showed, I am hoping to let my hair grow enough to do something nice with it.

I’m doing an enchanted forest wedding! It’s…kind of on the same plane. For hair I’m doing long wavy curls, and then a floral crown instead of a veil. Kinda like this…

For makeup I’m doing a neutral look with light pink accents (my floral crown is light pink.) and a light pink lip. 

My dress is a discontinued Vera Wang dress. I didn’t want to go ALL OUT renn faire but wanted to keep that fantasy look, so I got a long flowy gown with an all over floral print…unfortunately I don’t currently have a pic of it. I’m sorry! But it is gorgeous. I also got this cloak!

Ours is not Renaissance-themed as such, but my gown has a little bit of that vibe. It has a lace over-dress with a split front and long sleeves, and it sort of creates a square neckline with the underdress:

My headpiece is kind of a “crown of flowers,” but gold with pearls:
