Weddingbee boards

I've never been to the one in Tampa but we had our wedding at the Renaissance here in Charlotte and I thought it was amazing - obvisouly the spaces and layout will be different but their customer service was fantastic and the food was delicous. I was impressed from the moment we walked in there. Our Wedding Coordinator was amazing and really quick to respond to emails and let me be indecisive and make decisions pretty close to the wedding day haha. She also let us come in a few days early and start setting up since we were the only even that weekend.

we actually toured the Mariott next door before we were taken to the Renaissance. My mom liked the Mariott, it was more traditional but i really loved the layout of the Renaissance, everything was pretty central so both families could mingle all weekend.

We chose the smaller of the two ballrooms they had, mostly because it was more my style and had a long wall of windows leading out onto a patio with fire pits and chirmstas lights everywhere that we were welcome to use.

Another thing i loved about the Renaissance is that most of our guests stayed at the hotel (blocked rooms weren't too expensive) so after the wedding was over we all kind of migrated to the hotel bar (which had fantaistic sweat tea martinis!) and they entertained us well into the early morning.

I would totally recommend the renaissance to other people - have you been able to check out the space yet?
