Buy them from craigslist or fellow bees if you can, then resell them for half of what you paid. It is silly to pay to rent and silly to pay full price. Then pass the savings on.

I would definitely buy them yourself! Check out Linentablecloth.com. They are really good prices. Also, start comparing prices & find out who is the cheapest.

I looked at our local Rental Gallery & their prices are like $3-$4 more than buying your own linens. So that was a no brainer! Laughing

Rental prices are often higher.

Do your research- here in the weddingBee classifieds, craigslist, http://www.recycledbride.com , http://www.oncewed.com , Ebay etc.

Did you know that you can check all craigslist sites at the same time?

go to http://www.google.com  enter site:craigslist.org

then add what you are looking for  eg black tablecloths,

 would be       site:craigslist.org black tablecloths

Your results will show all ads on any site selling what you searched for.

We bought our linens, and sold them after the wedding.  It was a lot less expensive than renting!

Dito to PP’s about buying over renting. Compare prices for each and for different websites to buy online. We saved over $80 buying our linens instead of renting!

You can get the cheap poly tablecloths and then turn around and sell them- wouldn’t put much of a dent in your budget and you can get a cute matching color. Go for buying- renting is so not worth it.

I was planning on buying, but then I found a great place and have decided to rent. It will cost me about the same amount and Im getting exactly what I want. Oh and the backdrop. I really was planning on buying, but this place in Toronto is just perfect.

We bought ours from linentablecloths.com and then sold them after the wedding through weddingbee and also on craigslist.  They actually went pretty quickly.  So much cheaper than renting.
