wow, i never thought of renting my dress. i paid a $1000! (a little more actually, plus will have to do alterations).....BUT i 100% plan to sell my dress after the wedding and am hoping get back at least half of what i paid.....but $200, wow!
I wanted to look into this, but I could not find anywhere in my city that rented dresses! It's a great deal for sure - you get a gorgeous, expensive dress for a much cheaper price and you don't have to worry about all the cleaning and such after!
That's a great idea. Where do you even rent wedding dresses though? I've never heard of that as an option.
Actually, there are handful locations in Los Angeles and Orange County in California.
I get about 5 days rental and do not have to pay for the dry cleaning fee!!!
I plan to up to LA store to try their "premier designer" labels (Vera Wang, Monique Lhuillier etc).
OMG if I would rent a JA dress, I would! I'm not going to want to pay for it to be put in a box and collect dust in a closet for years. I'm going to look into this!

I am very excited to let other bees know that I have decided.
After spending countless hours of researching, talked to others and giving thoughts, I have decided to rent my dress. =)
The dress would have cost me $1000 to purchase + alteration + veil + dry clean + tax. However, I will be spending $200 for my CLEANED, altered, dress with a veil of my choice + not to worry about what to do with the dress after the wedding.
I do not have picture to share but in near future, I will add the picture.
Any last minute advise from bees who rented their wedding dress???
