yeah it sucks..just have them pick up you and your girls or surprise all the guys before the wedding and let them ride around for a while:) OR maybe ask if you can use some of the time before hand like the rehearsal dinner/or your b-parties! ** IF you do a limo…. If not, i dont know. Alot of them are like 2 hr minimum out here

The only thing I can suggest is going to a car club & seeing if you could pay someone privately for the privilege? We tried for ages but found it would cost too much (for seriously, a 5 minute job) so we ended up just leaving the reception in a regular old BMW sedan!

We ran into this problem and started looking at horse and buggys which are even more expensive so we found out who has the nicest car in our friends and family and my friend is now driving us away in his camero.

This was a big issue for us because it seemed stupid to pay someone to drive us 1 mile to our hotel.  But we lucked out and won limo service in an auction for the entire day for really cheap so we’re using the down time (when we’re taking pictures and after we’ve already been dropped off at the venue) to shuttle guests to and from the hotel. But I would call around to different limo companies and see if they can do something similar to an airport transport.  Those are one way pick up/drop off, typically used to pick up at an airport and drop off at a hotel but you might find a company willing to do it and it’ll be way cheaper than having to pay for so many minimum hours when the car will just be sitting.

I agree with PP about contacting members of a car club.  Probably your best bet because of the time constraints.

Don’t know if this an option for you but we are exiting with a pedi-cab.  Roger Rickshaw charges $75 an hour.  The ride is less than a mile but we want some pictures in the pedi-cab and figure after we get dropped off they can go back for our parents.

I understand that 100% I researched around because FH wanted to leave in a Cadillac XLR the rental was 500.00 and that was just for the day. So I opted to rent a Camaro (my favorite, I’m a transformers junkie) and we are keeping it until Sunday. It’S only $187.00 with tax which is ALOT cheaper than that 500.00 speel!

Right now, I am looking into the vintage car to bring me to the ceremony… and we will be leaving in FI’s car.. :-/.. he wants the car in the wedding pictures lol. There is a 2 hour min though.. We are assuming.. just the ride to the ceremony (like 45mins) and then a couple pics.. they also charge from garage to garage.. so its not like. .you get in the car and get out and they can charge for just the time you were in there ya know? So you might actually require more time than you think based on where the car is coming from!
