My fiance and I went to a wedding this past weekend and noticed so many things that the couple had available for the guests at their reception. For example, high chairs were provided and used by a LOT of people. We hadn’t even thought about this amenity, but is it really necessary or is it an “extra” that people should be able to do without? There might be ten or so babies at the wedding, but we are very far away from receiving RSVPs and actual numbers.

I think renting high chairs is absolutely a necessity. I know the people we provided with high chairs for the wedding were very appreciative that they didn’t have to try to eat with a baby or toddler on their laps. Plus, my nephew is still trying to master silverware, and the high chair kept the mess to a minimum.
We found that renting high chairs to be pretty inexpensive. We rented from http://www.awaybabyrentals.com/ which is available in a ton of areas (even our rural little tourist town :). Each high chair was only $5 for a two-day rental.

Thanks for the input Mrs. Spring! I didn’t know high chairs would be so cheap to rent. It sounds like they would definitely be worth it because want my guests to enjoy themselves.
