Hey everyone. Getting down to about that time where I need to be making a decision on my bridesmaid dresses. Today this idea of doing rent the runway just popped in my head. The girls would only have to spend about $50 and they could send it back after. Instead of having this dress they will never wear again and spend 150 to 200 on? Is this a good idea or no?

My only question would really be what if they didn’t fit the dress right and it needed altered, which I’m assuming you can’t do?
Another option is finding a bridesmaid dress that is wearable again. The one I picked is not, but I’ve seen others on here that have found such a dress.

@karatechick27: yes it would have to be an “off the rack” fit. They send you 3 sizes I believe when you order. the size you picked an one larger and one smaller. But they still would fit like an altered dress.

i wouldn’t use rtr if you want them to match. i think it would only be worth renting if you stick to the $50 dresses, but many cost more than that. also, it depends on your bm’s sizes — designer duds can run small.

@Mrs. Beans:they send you 2 sizes of your choice.

Do they rent plus size dresses as well? My girls range in size from 2-20 with big/small chests and big/small hips so this dress thing is becoming a bit of a nightmare!
