I think you'd be ok with that particular style. Keep in mind it COULD look costumey if they use cheap satin. I got mine from china and it's ok. the lace is uh, "mesh" with applique flowers but i photoshopped the crap out of my bridal portraits so it's ok. My photog said it was cute and would look fine in pics but i would never wear it to my actual wedding. They also F'ed up the sizing something fierce. I told them 38" hips and they were more like 30" and didnt' fit at all.
It seems to be that if you have a simple design with limited beading, etc, you can get one tht at looks fine and then have it custom tailored to fit you better.
search the boards for similar posts. (On here and on "the knot") there are several discussions about this topic. I have read hundreds and the theme seems to be, if you get professionally measured & the dress you want replicated does not have lace... this seems to be the best outcome. lace is hard to replicate cheaply and if you dont get properly measured then of course you are bound to have problems considering they are making to the specifications. iseems like the dress you would want replicated would come out great. personally believe ill be going with Milly Bridal as I have heard the most positive things about them. you can google them too and see people's reviews as well. :) good luck! keep us posted!
I bought a bridesmaid dress from Peridress, one of the chineses knock-off websites, and I was pretty disappointed with the quality of the material and the construction of the dress. The dress looked similar, but it was not exactly the same, and there were some weird things about it that just didn't look all that good on me. The dress was also 2 sizes too big for me, despite the dress being made for my measurements. I can't say what their wedding dresses are like, and you can always try to get one and see how it turns out. After all, they only cost about $150, and you can always try to sell it if you don't like it. But I would not recommend it.... If I were you I'd try to find a used dress on craigslist or on preownedweddingdresses.com It might be safer to get the look and quaity you are looking for.
I didn't do it, but I've heard of a lot of dresses coming from China that ended up horribly. Not just the fabric, but the quality of the dress as a whole. From what I've heard, it is not worth the money.
my friend ordered from littlecoral.com and loves her dress! I saw a photo of her in the dress and it looked great! Hers is a mermaid style with some beading.. She said the quality is surprisingly very good. The person who made it added a few extra beads then the inspiration dress, but she said she still loves it and it fits perfectly.

Anyone ever order a custom made dress from China? I would like to have some light shed if you've had the experience and what kind of results came from it? How was the fit?
Thanks!
