by the way i have 11mths till my wedding so that should be enough time if i get my skates on
I ordered a dress from Jeff Liu, it was well constructed, fit perfectly, but not exactly to my design specifications (maybe I wasn't clear enough...) The fabric was obviously cheap quality, very stiff tulle, the satin was kind of fake looking. Overall though, I think it can be a good deal for the price. Definately make sure you get a pic before they ship, so if there's any problems it can be fixed first (they offered to make me a new dress for "free", just pay $70 shipping, but I declined) And be very very specific and clear about what you want. And have realistic expectations on fabric quality.
I've heard very good things about dressilyme.com on here!
DONT ORDER FROM JEFF LIU!!!!!!! You can read my reviews and see the quality he chose to send me. It was TRASH!
I went with DRESSILYME and they did an amazing job! It was the same dress design. It was even better than the original TO ME! Quality was there and the price was perfect.

I received two dresses from dressilyme and one was simple chiffon. Both were more amazing than I could have imagined.
I also hear wonderful things about Jasmines bridal. I just haven't had personal experience with them. But I feel that dang near any of them are better than LIU!
Thank you so much just read through your other comments and it has been very helpful I will def contact dresslilyme and see how I go
One thing though I have heard that china dress makers are on holidays for Chinese new year
Also how much detail do I need to give them?? I'll post pictures of both dresses I love tonight and would love your opinion as to which one you think would be easier for them to replicate
Thanks again your dress was beautiful
OK, well I ordered an engagement dress (very simple short white thing) from Landy Bridal after Dressily told me they couldn't make it. They told me there would be a delay for Chinese New Year... slightly nervous as they haven't got back to me yet (2+ weeks later) and I need it by 16th Feb. But I'll tell you how it goes and post you pics if you like. I've heard that Dressily is the best cheap dressmaker (which is why I went to them first) but that Jasmine's is AMAZING quality (but expensive). For me, in an ideal world I'd have less important dresses made by Dressily, and if I wanted a complex wedding dress I'd go with Jasmine (in theory... not tried out any of them yet).
One thing's for sure though, not Jeff Liu... heard some AWFUL things about him.
Jasmines Bridal reopens on Feb 4th or 5th I think.
I would suggest going with them - they produce consistent high quality results. I haven't read one bad review on them. You will pay a little bit more, but the dress fit will be phenomonal.
I have read bad reviews on Jeff Liu.
ok so i ordered from jeff (yes i know gasp!!)
however i thought it was worth a try, i just recieved pictures before shipping can you please give me feedback, i am pretty happy at present, my only complaint is that my replica has pleats whereas the origninal sits straight down should i complain and ask for this to be changed? i will post pictures now
see what i mean about the pleats? should i ask for them to fix it? any thing else i should ask for?

I am in desperate need for your help!! I have a very small budget wedding planned and i have decided to get my dream wedding dress made in china i have read SOOOO many blogs about different ones and am really confused, at first i was thinking Jeff Liu, now i am leaning towards jasmine bridal PLEASE HELP
My dress is very simple sweetheart strapless chiffon and i have got a 2 quote to get it made both around the $200 figure or the other dress i love is the same but silk (which would be safer material?)
