We are giving our guests a choice between four meals on the invitation response cards. I used some suggestions I found online to see how the response cards should look and they came out a bit like this:

M_____________

___Accepts ___Declines

Please Indicate the Number of each meal:

___Chicken ___Beef

___Salmon ___Vegetarian

I wanted to make place cards for the reception for each individual guest showing their meal choice. So this is the question: If a family of 4 responds with "2 beef" and "2 chicken" how do know who ordered which meal???

List each option with a line for a checkmark based on what they want of the choices available.

For example:

"Please indicate your choice below"

David Smith Beef _____ Chicken ______ Vegetarian ______

Holly Smith Beef _____ Chicken ______ Vegetarian ______

Jessica Smith Chicken strips ______ Macaroni and cheese _____

Most people have no clue what to do with an M______ line so if you are printing your own reply cards, skip the confusion for everyone by printing the names of each invited guest.

For my own response cards, I didn't even think about this being an issue (but now it kind of is, because I don't know who ordered what in each family). But I just got a wedding invitation from someone else and here's what she did:

Accepts____ Regrets _____

Pleace initial your choice for entree:

____ Beef

____ Chicken

____ Vegetarian

____ Children's meal

This is how i set up mine. I also had different versions for ppl with kids and singles. I added the cell phone part because our location is outside and our plan b is in a different location.

kindly respond on or before june 4th
