I think personally I’d leave it as children’s meal… Chicken nuggets and fries looks strange to me listed with the fancy adult meals.

Here’s what my RSVP’s will sound like:

We have reserved ___ seats in your honour.

__ Will attend ___ Decline with regret

Please indicate the number of entrees for each selection below:

___ Food #1

___ Food #2

___ Children’s Meal

I went through trying to figure it out and even posed a question to the Bees and the majority thought it best to keep it simple AND leave it up to the parents to decide instead of assigning an arbitrary age like “10 years old” and whatnot.

I think listing the meal description for the kids you run the risk of having people choose the adult meal for their child. I have several children under 10 who’s parents would choose the steak if given the choice.

AmyBamy:  I’d stick with children’s meal, but drop the age – I think “children’s” should be clear enough. If you were to write out what the food actually was, then maybe I’d say add the age back in or call it a children’s meal just to be clear. But I think simple is best!

I saw someone post on amother thread that said they described the kids meal as dinosaur food or something silly and fun.
