We invited the president, but haven't heard anything back. Boo.
I sent one and didn't receive a response yet. It's been two months since I sent it, maybe.
My wedding is in 2 weeks....do you think it is too late to send his invite? Will it be obvious he is a b-lister? :) hehe
I sent my invite 2 months ago and haven't heard anything. I heard from one person that you usually don't get anything back until AFTER the wedding. ???
I thought the deal was that they sent you a congratulations certificate of sorts after the wedding.
We just got our congratulations response today!!!!! =D We sent the invite 8/31 and were married last week - it's really nice.
Im sending one out on monday and thanks so much for this post because i was worried. My wedding is in two weeks but i want a congratulations response too! i think they wait till after your married always though
A friend told me that she just got hers recently, and sent the invite in February.

In the other thread about famous guests at the wedding, I mentioned inviting President and Mrs. Obama, but not receiving a response.
I was wondering if anyone (or anyone you know) invited the President (any president) and received a response? I had heard that they reply to everyone, so I was looking forward to getting a letter. It's been 4 months and we haven't gotten anything!
