We are considering a wedding in Vegas and are trying to decide if we should have a small reception (we are expecting 50 guests or so) or have the ceremony and then take everyone out for dinner. We are working on a pretty limited budget and have heard of “in-suite” ceromonies and receptions. Does anyone have any advice?? I’d love to hear it! BTW we are looking at an early July wedding. 🙂 Thanks!!!!

I’m trying to decide the same thing. The only problem is that a lot of venues that aren’t “chapels” don’t allow you to do ceremony only because they make a killing on the reception . We found the restaurant andres at the monte carlo which was a beautiful place to have dinner! Not only that it was cheaper to have dinner there than the venue that overly charges for their buffet dinner. I think that the restaurant is a great idea for a small wedding and sometimes a lot better deal! now were just on the search for a ceremony venue. Let me know what you find!

Consider Springs Preserve. They will do “ceremony only”. Beautiful indoor as well as outdoor locations. Tell them Green Orchid Events sent you! Good luck!
