Hey, another Denver bride! I think the Denver Art Museum has a restaurant that can be booked for private events.  I am looking at their sculpture garden for a possible ceremony venue.

We got married at Briarhurst Manor in Manitou Springs.  It was goregous!  We had the smaller side patio but there wasn’t a wedding at the larger one the day we got married so it was extra quiet for us!

We were also close enough to wander off to Garden of the Gods beforehand for pictures (my favorites of the whole day, actually).

I think il fornaio in the tech center does wedding receptions and it looked pretty reasonably priced. Where r u having ur ceremony? We ended up doing a country club (wasn’t as expensive as it sounds lol!) Because it was the cheapest and easiest option. We r paying $35 per person for the whole reception (including dance floor, plated dinner, tables, linens, centerpieces provided by the club, pretty much EVERYTHING is included!) That was literally the cheapest option I could find. Especially since most venues (other than restaurants) charge at least a couple grand just to rent the place…not even food or anything.

kortizi0:  Is the country club open to non-members?

yojazzyj:  not at all we r having ours at Lakewood cc they do charge 1500 if u want ur ceremony on the gold course but it is beautiful! Valley country club in Centennial (off Parker and Arapahoe) is really pretty too and charges $50 per person for everything and anywhere from 200 to 500 for ceremony. It’s cheaper of its inside but they have a pretty room inside with a fireplace and it connects to a patio that ur guests can use too 🙂 I think they both have a minimum but that’s cuz we are having ours on a Saturday in June so it may be less if u have it out of peak season on a Sunday or something

yojazzyj:  I can’t remember the exact amount we paid but I think we only spent around $6k on our entire wedding (not counting the dress).  Briarhurst was less than $3k I think for about 50 people.
