Hi ScarletBlossoms, Welcome!
I am a North Shore gal - got married in May and here are my recommendations:
We used the Phoenix Room in Newburyport - owned by Harborside Catering that also owns the restaurants Michael's Harborside and Ten Center. Wonderful, Fabulous, Amazing, Can't say enough great things about them!!! BUT - they might be too small for you. They also own Groveland Fairways, though, which could be perfect.
The other places I looked at and loved but didn't use (mostly cause friends had their weddings there!) were the Mission Oak Grill in Newburyport, Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, and Woodman's of Essex (in Essex). I have friends that used all three of these venues and their weddings were beautiful!
Best of luck!

Hi!
I am new to this site. Can anyone recommend a restaurant/ venue that is fairly decent price outside of the Boston area (leaning more towards the North Shore area). We looked at a few resturants like Brutole in Danvers, but they're just not big enough to accomodate the wedding party (we're looking at about 150).
Thank you!
