Oh I LOVE restaurant week!!  Another thing I'm sad I'm missing!  Jeeze I gotta get myself home!  Only six more weeks!!  And hopefully by then all that silly snow will be gone!!

We went to 29 newbury last year - it was soooo good!

Restaurant Week(s) = possibly my favorite time of the year!

My sister's birthday always falls during the the winter RW (lucky!)- We're going to Top of the Hub.

I also made reservations at Pigalle, Icarus, and Mistral. :)

Yup - going to a few places.  Rialto and Ruth's Chris.  This is the 1st year Ruth's Chris has done a dinner menu.  My fiance and I love it there.

I went to Rialto last year for RW and it was fabulous!

I've also been to the Top of the Hub (it's where my then boyfriend, now husband took me the night he proposed).  I'd recommend the scallops appetizer (AWESOME!) and lamb entree.

I've made reservations for Capital Grille, L'Espalier, Locke-Ober, Radius, and Meritage all for different nights with various groups of friends.  I'm so excited.

HumarockBride- there's usually one in August as well, so at least you won't have to wait a whole year!

@rosychicklet Is L'Espalier and Locke-Ober doing dinners this year?! I love both of them! I somewhat recently did a wine dinner a L'Espalier--loooove.

L'Espalier is only doing lunch, so I'm going with some labmates.

    Locke-Ober is doing dinner.

I have been to L'Espalier- with my husband, courtesy of a VERY generous wedding gift from some grad school friends.  It was SUPER good.  I mean- hello!  Grande Fromage!  Sign me up!

I think we're going to try to do Ivy & The Daily Catch....a couple that were on our list to check out anyway, but we just haven't.

Not for restaurant week, just in general, I want to go to Pho Republique...anyone been? Thoughts?

FI wants to check out Tangerino too

Went to The Capital Grill last night- it was really, really great.  The food, the service, the ambiance- all wonderful

Went to L'Espalier for lunch today- not so good.  The salmon was underdone (so mushy and uncooked I couldn't finish it), the portions were pretty skimpy, the waiter was unattentive- forgot to bring wine, drinks, cheese plate.  Very disappointing.  Compared to how it was when I went there for dinner (ordering off the regular menu) seems like they really let things slide for restaurant week goers.

@katrinab I just went to Sibling Rivalry last night! It was delicious! Their restaurant week menu is actually their regular menu... you just get to choose 1 item from each section for the RW price! :)

I went to Moo last week for lunch - yum!

Tomorrow am going to Radius.  Why can't it be restaurant week all the time??

@katrinab, mmm... it was so hard to choose! I had the tuna tartare, the duck, and the butterscotch pudding. Mr. T had the calamari, scallops and bread pudding. It was all delicious!

@erindesmar, hehe I'm kind of glad it's not restaurant week all the time! I like to eat too much! :) Though... lots of restaurants actually have things similar to RW during weekdays. Like special prix fixe menus and wine nights...
