Has anyone been to a policeman retirement party at a Police Club before?
We're going to one next weekend and there is a plate fee pp for dinner.
My question is does the plate fee go towards the retiree or back to the police club?
Any good ideas for retirement gifts? This is a relative of my husband's that we aren't' really close to so I would like to keep the gift under $50 especially due to the plate fee as well.
I thought maybe a lighter (for the grill) shaped like a gun/rifle?
Maybe a business card holder since he is starting his own business after retirement?
What do you think the dress code would be? The Police Club looks casual, typical banquet hall from pictures online.
I'll def ask his wife as well.
Thanks!
