artdeco:  I had Come Rain or Come Shine – the Ray Charles version. I also had a tea length dress 🙂

Other songs I considered were Love me tender, this magic moment, stand by me, dearest (buddy holly), all of my life (sam cooke). There’s also at Last by etta james but that is quite popular now.

my go to thought is Earth Angel.  it makes me think of Back to the Future 2 at his parents prom, and the song makes me melt.
