Hi, my fellow bees-in-waiting! I’m taking a break from packing to post this–despite my own warnings against getting my hopes up. We leave tomorrow morning for a mini vacation to Chincoteague Island. I’m pretty sure he’ll propose…or at least, I’m highly hopeful he will! While we were planning our trip, he kept insisting on making it “more romantic.” And I can’t count the number of whispered conversations with his friends I’ve walked into over the past few weeks. Plus, he’s been working overtime insisting the proposal is coming at Christmas.
I’ve wished so many bees good luck over the past 3 months, all while warning them to prepare themselves for disappointment, just in case. But now here I am, in the same boat, and hoping just as hard that a proposal is nigh. So wish me luck, please!! In a few days, I’ll be back here again. The question is, will I return with my boyfriend or a fiancé? 🙂

I don’t know how many days DH and I went on where I came home disappointed because I thought he was going to propose and he didn’t. So I agree. Don’t get your hopes up to high. But it’s definitely exciting to think about! I hope he proposes while on this trip. 🙂

Have fun!!! A vacation sounds lovely this time of year. Enjoy every second. Even if it’s not a proposal, things move so quickly in life, it’s good just to relish wonderful moment as they happen and make otherwise normal memories meaningful.

madmaxshannah: Go in with the mindset that you’ll enjoy your vacation to the fullest with the man you love and come back a girlfriend 😉
I’ll cross my fingers that you come back a fiancée, but try to enjoy the moments individually and I hope you have a great vacation no matter what! 😀
