I went with my favorite panties and a stick on bra on our big day. :)
I considered spanx or something, but ultimately I just wanted to be comfortable!
i am wearing a felina longline bra under my dress and some hanky pankys. i don't really need anything to suck me in, but i wanted my dress to lay on something other than my bare skin for a better fit. the felina longline bra was the best one that i found between a kagillion stores.
Spanx (I wear them with any dress though). Plus crinolines and a long-line strapless bra. It didn't cost $120 for all of that total. The bra was $49 I think. I forget how much Spanx cost because I have like 3 pair that I've had for a while. lol
theres no option for crinoline in your poll.. I will wear strapless bra and crinoline
I suppose i am still learning what many of these items are! I should have put that in my poll. But thanks for telling me about crinoline. I am going to research it too.
My dress has built-in padded cups, its perfect for my tiny tatas. Other than that, probably just some cute undies!
I don't think I need a bra with my wedding dress... so I'm glad not to wear one (for once) baha! Just put on some undies and we'll be ready to go! :)
Wow! I am so surprised to see that so many woman aren't using the corset. That makes me feel a bit better. I need to buy something good to help with my muffin top. ^_^ I hope once I see my dress bra's and such won't be a problem. I am feeling much better now because I thought I needed an army underthere!!!!
My plan is a white Biofit strapless bra and cozy blue hipster panties with little white polka dots and white lace trim, both from Victoria's Secret. Pretty excited to have figured out my something blue. :)
Don't think I'll need Spanx with my wedding dress though I'm thinking of trying 'em under my rehearsal dress, which is not as flattering to my figure.
no bra because my dress had a corset built into it underneath the bodice, and lacy blue panties :)
I wore this bra, the Miraculous strapless from Victoria's Secret.
And little black hiphuggers that said "Sexy Little Bride" on the butt, with a black garter belt and black striped thigh-high stockings.
My dress is backless, so I'm thinking sewn in cups *with a little 'umph' included ;-)* and probably just some cozy, cute undies. I'm planning to change into something more sexy after a shower or relaxing hot tub. I dance, A LOT, I will not be adorable or smell like roses straight out of the dress. :-)
I had the seamstress take one of my old wonderbras (because I'm on the smaller side) and she sewed it right into the dress, so I didn't have to worry about pulling up the bra all night. (Oh, the cups they have at the craft store wasn't enough 'stuffing' so that why I went with the wonderbra.) She also cut off the back to the bra because my dress was lace up. I asked her to cut it up so I knew to give her a bra I don't wear anymore.
Just a lacie thong for me! Once I get my dress altered I shouldn't need a bra, yippee!!!
Just regular underwear, and biker-short type spanx!
I didn't wear a bra (even though I'm a d-cup) because the bodice of my dress was super snug and sturdy enough to support me. It would have been very hard to wear a bra with anyway, due to the low-ish back.
@Sassygrn: This is so unrelated. I went into this thread to see what people were wearing, but your picture of the cake is awesome. Is that your cake? Can you send me your inspiration pic?
I HATE strapless bras. My dress fit snug enough in the top that I didn't really need one. I had a cute pair of lacy undies.
Because I'm more a little blessed I'm wearing this (http://www.amazon.com/Dominique-Longline-Lace-Torsolette-Bra/dp/B0000CBXEA) under my dress plus underwear of some sort and a petticoat. The torsolette needs to be taken in a bit at the waist but otherwise it holds everything in wonderfully.
The garterstraps are removable which is nice since they are not really substantial and if I didn't decide to go with hold-ups I would want a 6-metal clip garter belt or full merry widow instead so that the seam stays straight.

I am currently searching for the best fit to go under my gown. What did you do or what are you going to do for your wedding day?
Please offer any advice you can on this subject. Oh and the reason I might seem aloof is that I am currently living abroad and had to order my dress from the internet. Bridal shops here cater to rentals and there are a few rare designers but their style is outside of my interest. I am having to piece it all together on my own.
I saw a undergarment at a lingerie shop for $120 and am unsure that is what I need and unsure the price is necessary. It seems many ladies have found some items optional. I am hoping to learn more about what goes under THE DRESS and to see how it plays a role in the entire fit. If anyone has a particular brand they love shoot!!! I am all ears
