My only concerns run along the lines of 1) How many guests are you serving?  2) Are YOU and your FI actually doing all the cooking the day before, or are you receiving help with this?

Knowing that you’re trying to accomplish a semi-casual reception, I think the food and drink items will be perfect!

Sounds awesome!  YUM.  I would be a little worried about undertaking all of this the day before my wedding though…  Since your reception is at a country lodge, I’m guessing you’ll have to do a lot of the other stuff as well, like setting up tables / chairs / linens / decor / lighting / etc?  That’s how ours was, and it was pretty crazy.  Adding the food on top of that sounds like a handful…

I think it sounds very tasty, but I too would be concerned about what seems like a quite large undertaking.

The food options sound great, but I am afraid that you’re going to live to regret wanting to cook it all before. You’re going to be so busy anyway….why not have a parent or cousin or someone take care of this for you?
