i think it's fine! just wear your hair a little different, different jewelry, mix up the shoes, and you've got a totally different outfit :)

yeah definitely go for it! i plan on wearing the same dress to my shower and then again for a second reception in my fiances hometown.
Yeah, I say re-wear it. I had my shower today, and one of my bridesmaids had set out photos for people to look at, and I was wearing the same dress as in one of them! If anyone noticed, they didn't say anything.
I plan to re-wear my e-pic dress. Unless it's super-unique most people won't even remember what you wore for other events.
I don't know why you wouldn't re-wear a dress you wore in your e-pics. I say go for it! You spent all that time picking an outfit you look great in, get more use out of it!
Why not? If you like the outfit, then why not wear it as much as possible?
One of the outfits I plan on wearing for my engagement photos is a dress that I wore for a friend's wedding. Everyone loved it on me and it made me happy to wear it.
i'm big on re-wearing. it makes me feel like i have a signature look. i like to feel like "me" so i chose a favorite often-worn dress for my engagement pics and am hoping to wear my shower dress again soon. go for it!
I agree...wear it again, but wear it differently..change up the accessories...earrings, necklace, shoes...
ok so I may be the dissenting opinion here...are you planning on re-wearing for a wedding-related event? If so, will there be a lot of photographs taken? I am all over wearing my favorite outfits over and over again, but I have a weird thing about framing or displaying photos from different events where I am wearing the same thing. I mean, it's definitely NOT a faux paux or anything like that, but I can see why you'd be hesitant.

I'm considering re-wearing the dress for my engagement pics again for another occasion but I'm still undecided. What's your take on "re-wearing" outfits for wedding related events? Are you re-wearing any of your dresses--say between engagement pics, showers, rehearsal dinners?
