@Pink Turtle:  definately more, they’re supposed to sparkle more than a diamond

Disclaimer on colored moissanite: the color comes from a coating on the stone, not the stone itself.  So while the stone’s durable and crazy sparkly, it’ll turn white if it’s exposed to too much heat, so you’ll have to let the jeweler know when you bring it in.  If the coating doesn’t bother you, it’s a great choice.

If I had your setting I would either get a:

moissanite oec  (160 or 250 USD)

better than diamond Avarra diamond cut (aka round brilliant) cut lab created sapphire, ruby, or emerald.

the Avarra stones won’t be as sparkly as a diamond, but because of the cut, they’re still sparkly.

wish i could help, but i’ve been told my RHR does look like an e-ring. it’s a cluster of 7 diamonds arranged in a circle, with a halo and split shank pave band. i love it and bought it for myself a while ago, but i’ll probably stop wearing it when i finally am officially allowed to wear my e-ring.

i have always loved the peachy pink moissanites, though, and really want one for a RHR. they look great with rose gold. i think schubach’s sells them and i know a couple ladies on here have them and they look DIVINE.

ahhh okay, sorry i missed the detail that you wanted to use your old setting. i bet the pink moissanite (not the peachy pink) would look awesome in white gold! you could order the loose stone, see if you like it, and return it within 14 days without any charge!
