I am totally watching this right now. I told Mr. Lox he should watch these shows whenever he thinks I've gone crazy. $500 to take pictures somewhere? Ha!
@eloping: So yeah, the people who lived there wanted $750 but let her bargain down to $500. There are so many things wrong with it that I'm not even sure where to start.
I was JUST about to post about this!!!!!!!!!! That is totally insane! That lady should have said no, or flat out refused to take anything less than the 750 she initially asked for, lol. Who doesn't like parks? Geez.

my first thought, well after saying no would be how much is it going to cost me in insurance to have strangers wandering around my property and even then i would still say no
so this show is teaching budget conscious brides to start knocking on strangers doors? im guessing having a camera crew helped her efforts
I saw that episode! I also think it is quite ridiculous. Why would some random stranger want to let you use their house for your bridal photos? Not that my house is bridal portrait worthy, but if it was, I would not want a random group of people using my entranceway!
Okay so update....they actually took pictures INSIDE the house?! Yeah, no. Had it been my house I definitely would have gone UP from 750 and probably started at 1000! That is just beyond weird. And definitely not what a rational bride on a budget would do.
I am sure she had some nice pictures but still....I hate to throw around the "T" word but if the tacky fits....
I dont understand this.. maybe because i've never seen the show. Why did she want to take pics at someone elses house?
@bells: maybe to look richer than what she was? She said she didn't like parks and so she went riding around with the groom's sister I think, looking at houses and decided that was the one that fit her criteria....ridiculous
Haha, I saw that episode a while ago. I can't imagine ever doing that. Especially paying $500 bucks for it.
So random!!! I don't know if I could every pay to take pictures at someone else's house... They spent so much money on their wedding.
With the money she spent on the house, I could have invited 10 other guests!!!
She was so obnoxious. Her throwing the tantrum about the red carpet and wanting two wedding bands was ridiculous. I wish DH would have been home so I could show him that I wasn't so bad!
I remember that episode! I can't help but think that this show is a bit set-up and pre-arranged though...they try to up the drama factor in a big way.
I was glued to the TV for that episode and I feel BAD for that groom! She was so manipulative and nasty.

I find them totally hilarious though! I also remember that episode and thought she was crazy, but I also thought the home owner was crazier for trying to raise the price!? wtf!
