hi!! i'm so glad there is a richmond bee to represent us! i live in richmond but am having my wedding on october 3rd in corolla, north carolina. where are you having yours?
Our reception will be at the jefferson and ceremony at the cathedral. I can't wait!

Hey RIC ladies! I am having my wedding in October too! Mine is in 2010 though. I am having my wedding at Twin Lakes State Park. They have a Gorgeous lake! We really do need to get this board rolling!
hi everyone :) glad there are some richmond girls here. i'm not actually from richmond, but my wedding is right outside the city next september. i know nothing about the area (yeah, we decided on a destination but not really, we live in northern va) so i'm excited to hear some recommendations. we do have a venue - celebrations at the reservoir.
thanks jslong11! it was the one place we looked at where both me and the fiance were in agreement on every point, lol. sometimes i feel like we should have looked a little longer, but i know that in all honesty, we won't find another place that fits both our needs and desires.

Hey everyone- I live in RIC, just moved here 1 year ago, but I am getting married in Albany, NY (where my and FI family is). But there are a ton of things that I need to get done here: ie: invites, flower ideas (to bring to the florist I choose in NY), and get favors, as well as some other things.
Maybe we can all get together sometime soon and share all of our ideas. Plus, I would love to meet some more people - really don't know anyone yet done here except for my co-workers, and even there I am about 10 years younger than everyone (lol).

Moved to Richmond only 6 months ago... right after I got engaged. Planning a wedding at the Mankin Mansion in October. Looking forward to the beautiful fall weather!
